This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and makes no third-party requests.
This Cookies Policy explains how carbongreylabs.com (the “Site”) uses cookies and similar technologies. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What this covers
“Cookies” here means cookies and equivalent technologies — localStorage,
sessionStorage, pixels and similar device storage or identifiers.
2. What this Site sets
This Site sets no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies and no analytics cookies. We run no advertising pixels, no analytics scripts and no social-media trackers.
The only device storage the Site may use is strictly necessary / functional:
minimal localStorage entries remembering an on-page preference, such as that
you dismissed a notice. These do not identify you, are never shared, and are
exempt from consent requirements under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive
because the Site relies on them to work as you asked.
Because we set nothing else, no consent banner is shown. That is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight.
3. Third-party requests
This Site makes no third-party requests.
Fonts, imagery, styles and code are embedded in the page or served from our own hosting and content-delivery provider, Vercel Inc. Vercel receives your IP address as a technical necessity of delivering the page, and processes it as our service provider under contract — see /subprocessors.
Earlier versions of this Policy stated that fonts were loaded from Google Fonts and that Google therefore received your IP address. That is no longer accurate and has been corrected: the Site’s fonts are embedded in the page itself and no request is made to Google or any other third party. You can verify this in your browser’s developer tools under the Network tab.
4. Our products
VinPilot, HomiPilot, BoatPilot, PilotMarket and BidderPilot are separate services with their own cookie and storage practices, described within each product. They have accounts, sessions and payments, and therefore use more storage than this Site does. Read each product’s own policy.
5. If this changes
If we introduce analytics, advertising or any third-party technology that sets non-essential cookies or discloses your IP address to a new recipient, we will update this Policy and — where the law requires it — request your consent through a banner before anything is set, with a rejection option as easy to use as acceptance.
6. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear stored data; look for “Cookies” or “Site data” under privacy settings. Blocking the functional storage described in Section 2 may lose a small convenience but will not prevent you from reading the Site.
You can also send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour as an opt-out request under Section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
